Men's WAVE RIDER 28

The Mizuno Wave Rider 28 is an absolute classic exemplar of a sweet spot daily trainer running and walking shoe freshly upgraded to motivate you to conquer your miles. Here to be your eminently trustworthy and inspiring do-it-all workhorse, the Mizuno Wave Rider 28 is innovatively energized. Designed for smooth transitions and propulsive cushioned drive, it’s a healthy dose of encouragement for you to enjoy your daily grind. The midsole cushioning highlights MIZUNO ENERZY NXT (new for this version), their softest lightest and most responsive ENERZY foam yet, while the signature MIZUNO WAVE plate through the heel and midfoot helps stabilize and propel this neutral shoe. Enveloping your feet, the breathable Jacquard Air Mesh upper incorporates a gusseted tongue, while the outsole showcases the brand’s X10 seriously durable carbon rubber. As for eco-conscious chops, the upper also shines with at least 90% recycled content for the textile, lining, and sockliner whereas the midsole is partly sugarcane based and the high-performance thermoplastic (TPU) WAVE plate is derived from castor beans. All told, the Mizuno Wave Rider 28 is a flagship for the brand’s core values of passion and performance and an embodiment of their “reach beyond” message to encourage everyone to push their limits and be better versions of themselves.
